Why should I apply a ceramic coating on my car if I can just apply a regular $10 wax, what's the difference?Carnauba wax is a type of organic plant and it has less protection against contamination. In contrast, ceramic coating provides excellent protection against elements such as the sun's UV rays, tar deposit, bird po, acid rain, and industrial fallout, break dust, and tree sap. While the initial coating will ‘bond’ to the paint surface within 2 to 4 hours, it does take some time for the product to fully cure. For the better result, please avoid washing your coated car within 48 hours, and professional infrared curing lamp can help ceramic coating bonding tightly and quickly. Q10. Is there anything that I absolutely need to do maintain the ceramic coating and the frequency should I follow ?The ceramic coating is polymer resin, so the effects may start to degrade slowly over time but surely it diminishes by exposure to the sun's UV rays, acid rain, and other contaminants. So we will sugggest you replenish the form of protection by boosting with a silicon spray sealant like Aqua Coating Spray roughly every 2 to 3 months for optimal levels and the maximum durability.
